We are currently looking for an Egg and Honey Co-Ordinator to join our team at Rotmell Farm  

You will become the local face of this forward thinking, outward looking business. Rotmell Farming is looking for an enthusiastic hard working team player to join the expanding business. The farm is the home to 4000 free range happy hens laying over 2 hen houses in the glorious hills of Highland
Perthshire. This exciting role is varied and challenging and will see you cover a range of daily tasksthat include:

Egg Sales and delivery:
- Grow and maintain business relationships and identify new opportunities in the marketplace
- Delivering eggs to wholesale, retail and door to door customers
- Maintain all records of egg sales and deliveries including: data input, cash handling, invoicing
and debt collection
- Box eggs and pack van ready for deliveries
- Ad hoc large egg deliveries across Scotland as business dictates
 

Along with running the egg sales and delivery business, 3 deliveries in the local area per week, there are also other duties involved in this role with the hen houses:

- Carrying out and recording all hen production data
- Collect, grade and pack eggs straight from the belt
- Establish newly laying hens into correct areas and into daily routines
- Maintaining all weighing, health and safety, biosecurity and collection data
- Organise and manage the hen rehoming days with local charities
- Other ad hoc duties

The ideal candidate will have ideally some sales experience however full training will be given, you must have a full clean driving license, be organised and forward thinking and the ability to adapt your daily routine when challenges arise. Rotmell farm is a positively busy environment so you must be able to multitask and jump into helping in other areas of the business when needed.
